Northern Planning Conference

Laura Cabott is a lawyer who has spent seventeen years representing former residential school students in legal claims. Her work has taken her across the North to all three Territories and Northern British Columbia.  She was also a negotiator and signatory of the Indian Residential Schools National Settlement Agreement in 2006. As well, she has made an award winning film about residential schools.
