Randy Clarkson is a professional mining engineer based out of Whitehorse since 1980. He has over 35 years of diversified world wide experience in underground and surface mine engineering, mineral processing, research, permitting and small hydro development.
Mr. Clarkson is recognized as a world leader in all aspects of placer mining and has appeared as an expert witness for supreme courts and arbitration boards. He also has had extensive experience in placer mine restoration and pollution control in both North and South America. Mr. Clarkson has researched, reviewed and provided advice to the Klondike Placer Miners' Association since 1987 on subjects as varied as gold recovery, placer exploration, economics, permitting regimes and reclamation.
