The Parties (First Nation of Na-cho Nyäk Dun, Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Han First Nation, Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, Gwich’in Tribal Council, and the Yukon Government) have agreed to send their collective comments on the Commission’s Recommended Plan to the Commission by February 15th. The Commission, currently not active, will then reactivate and develop a Final Recommended Plan by June 30th, 2011. The Parties will then review this document and consult with the affected communities and each other. The Parties anticipate reaching a decision on the Final Plan by late fall.
