Welcome to our Land Use Planning Atlas! This Atlas allows you to view and modify maps of land values in the context of regional planning. It also allows you to analyse this information. This Atlas may be useful to you if you:
- Must make decisions about land use in planning regions with plans;
- Are proposing a project or development in planning regions with plans; or,
- Are just interested in how resource, cultural and ecological values are distributed in Yukon’s planning regions
If you are new to the Atlas, this page will help you get started. On it you will find (over the coming months) tutorials, manuals, and hints. If you want to skip to the Atlas, click the link to the right.
Only two planning regions have plans that have been approved (North Yukon) or are in the approval process (Peel Watershed). As such, most of the information in the Atlas pertains to these two regions. As more planning processes occur, more and more information will be added to the Atlas. Currently, maps of the Peel Watershed Planning Region are being added.
